Online Shopping, 2011 Top Trend
My Facebook account has so many tags from different network selling a variety of goods and services, ranging from real estate to apparels, accessories, Cars for sale, shoes, franchise carts and many more.
Facebook is the most used social networking service by worldwide users and is now being utilized by entrepreneurs young and old alike.
How is it done?
1.The seller takes a picture of a product offered and posts it in Facebook.
2.He/she tags her network (friends listed in his/her network).
3.If somebody from his/her network, likes the item offered, the latter sends a personal message or puts a comment on the seller’s page conveying his/her intention to purchase.
4.The item offered will be marked “RESERVED”.
5.The buyer and the seller decide to meet, if they are in the same place for the delivery and payment of the goods.
6.If the buyer is residing miles away, the seller will send the product thru courier provided that the buyer pays for the fees.
It’s easy. I tried if for myself. I ordered a set of fashion accessories and met the seller in one of our big malls here in Cebu City. It’s exciting and at the same time scary.
Safety Tips for meet-ups:
1.Make sure that the place for meet-ups is in public area where there is a big crowd such as Malls or Public Market.
2.Don’t go there alone, bring a friend with you.
3.Before deciding to meet the seller, try to get his/her personal identification such as complete name, address, cellphone number, and residence number.
4.Inform a friend, sibling, or parents where you are going, and who you are going to meet.
Online Shopping is fun and enjoyable but nothing beats going to the department store personally because you can check for yourself the quality of the item before you spend your money.
