Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar is made from the juice of a crushed apple mixed with good bacteria and yeast to allow the process of alcoholic fermentation and turned into vinegar. The apple cider vinegar has been known for its many health benefits and uses such as:

Weight loss – makes you feel full and lowers food craving.

Lowers blood sugar – it increases insulin level and reduces blood sugar.

Dandruff Treatment – it has antibacterial properties that treats the itchiness of the scalp and rids off fungi that causes dandruff.

Natural Hair Loss Treatment - it helps revive hair growth when use as natural hair rinse and it also makes hair look healthy and shiny.

There are many testimonies on the benefits of the Apple Cider Vinegar some even say it can prevent cancer. While Apple Cider Vinegar can be beneficial to health, good nutrition, proper food intake, and daily exercise are still advisable and very effective.

Where to buy:  A variety of brands are out in the market and grocery stores. Many brands such as Braggs and Wescobee are readily available in the supermarket.

How to use the Apple Cider Vinegar: It would be safe to make it as a salad dressing or mix it in your food while cooking.  Others would dilute it in water in a ratio of 1:2, one part Apple cider vinegar and 2 parts water, if it tastes very sour, you can always add more water.

Hair experiment: I am actually doing an experiment on this.  I placed 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and mixed it with 2 tablespoons of water.  I had shampoo on my hair and rinsed it with water then I poured out the apple cider vinegar mixture on to my wet hair and massaged my scalp with it. I had the mixture stay for 3 minutes before I rinsed it with water.

Result: No more tangles.  My hair feels smooth and soft.  My scalp feels lighter.  It is not shiny though but it doesn’t look dull anymore.  This is just the first try.  My purpose is for hair loss treatment, so we’ll see what happens on the next 3 – 4 washes.
